I have always believed in but now I will influence it on as many as you.  Read on.

What is it about?  It’s the power of Social Media.  Today Social Media Networks are an important tool for marketing.  Marketers are increasingly using and finding value in growing their businesses on Social Media Network.  The broadcast and print media have finally taken a back seat to the power of Social Media, as today the consumers are spending less of their time in front of news papers and televisions to decide on their spend.  It’s no surprise that a majority of those connected to the internet (that is about 2 billion of us) talk about their purchases and look for opportunities or best deals every hour of the day, in countless of social media. They increasingly seek out references, opinions and reviews on-line about products and purchases before making purchasing decisions.

Why Social Media Network is such a hit?  Simply coz it is for us, Human Beings. We all love conversations. Conversations are around us everywhere.  Also note, Market itself is a conversation.  This aspect of listening and then engaging with consumers online and on-demand is possible only in social media.  The prevalence of Social Media Network has not just grown but exploded coz of this innate nature. Company reputations are made every hour through the millions of conversations taking place on Social Media Network. A prospect trusts these conversations and engagement model than the company’s claims on their website.

How do you go Social and grow? Conversations are not new to any of us and so for corporate too.  And most of us now know how to use the social media network as a marketing tool. The challenge or the trick is to re-invent the company culture to make it social i.e. conversation centric which is also customer-centric in approach.  So your conversations are the separators of prospect base and the customers.  Now being social forms the basis of your business growth.  With conversations as the backbone of your efforts, the only limit to how your business can connect and engage with audience to grow is your own imagination.
